Your wedding day will be one of the most photographed days in your lifetime and you will have those pictures and videos to look back on to remember the happiest day of your life. As a professional makeup artist, I will ensure you look like the best version of yourself not only in person but also in your photos and videos. I use professional products and specific techniques to ensure your makeup lasts all day and night and is HD photography and video safe. Everything is customized and tailored to meet your specific skin tone, skin type, likes and dislikes, and wedding design. I am here to make sure you have one less thing to stress and worry about on your wedding day.

Dates are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. I receive multiple inquiries for the same dates, therefore I always recommend booking your date as soon as you can. To begin the booking process, please complete a contact form here to verify that your date is available and go over the specifics of timing, the number of makeup applications, etc. A signed contract and a $300 Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable Retainer are required to book and secure your date. The $300 Non-Refundable Retainer will be applied toward the final balance. Final payment is due 14 days before the event date, therefore any bookings booked within 2 weeks will require the payment to be made in full.

Trials are not required but are highly recommended. Trials provide the perfect opportunity for you and Erica to become acquainted with each other and to go over in detail exactly what it is you want for your wedding. Having a trial prior to your wedding alleviates additional stress and helps ensure that I can deliver the exact look for your style and personality. Trials are typically scheduled 4 to 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Non-refundable retainer is not payment for any requested trials. Trials are scheduled on Mondays through Thursdays only.

Absolutely! Please note, however, booking a trial does not hold your date. Your wedding date will not be held without a signed contract and a $300 Non-Refundable Retainer.

Erica Colon Makeup Artistry LLC is a traveling makeup artist and provides services on location for your convenience. Trials are done at my studio located in Downtown Lancaster, PA.

Airbrush makeup applied using a small spray gun and a compressor. The makeup is sprayed onto your face using a small flow of air to create an ultra-lightweight, smooth layer of makeup. When applied correctly, it is virtually weightless and can’t be felt on your skin. This results in a more natural appearance. Airbrush makeup is self-setting, super long-wearing and sweat and water-resistant, and doesn’t transfer, as traditional makeup can sometimes. Airbrush coverage can range from sheer to full. Airbrush makeup is not compatible with all skin types; it can cling to excess hair, peach fuzz, sunburned skin, and extra dry skin patches.

Traditional makeup has come a long way and can look just as beautiful as airbrush makeup in pictures. It is a thicker consistency and applied using a brush or sponge. Some clients mention that they feel like they are wearing makeup with traditional makeup vs airbrush. Traditional makeup can also be built up in coverage and can range from a sheer to full coverage application. When applied and set properly, traditional makeup can also be very long-wearing. Traditional makeup is compatible with all skin types.

I only provide hair services at my studio for Photoshoots and Special Occasions/Events (not bridal). I do have a handful of bridal hairstylists that I prefer to work with that I could recommend for your big day.

All bridal services include travel within 10 miles of my location in Lancaster, PA 17603. Client will pay a mileage rate of $1.25 per mile for any additional miles beyond the 10 miles radius. Travel over 1 and half hours will require an overnight stay at a nearby hotel, plus Travel Fee to be paid by client.
